To ensure safe and effective operation:

  • Supply amperage must meet or exceed the minimum rating indicated on the office electrical panel.
  • Hookups must be performed by a certified electrician.

Generator Sizing Requirements

If connecting a container office to a generator, please ensure the following minimum specifications are met.

  • Generator Size, Standard Requirement: 30 kW (or 30 kVA)
  • Voltage: 220V
  • Disconnect: 125 Amp Minimum
  • Wire Size: Must meet local building codes for minimum ampacity.
